Return in the afternoon for information about conducting a casual accessibility check and formatting digital multimedia for accessibility.

For an interactive experience, participants are encouraged to bring a personal computing device with access to Google Drive, a smartphone or mobile tablet, and any piece of paper with text or a children’s book.

On day two, learn about switch accessibility for students with visual impairments who have extensive support needs. There will be guided practice opportunities with setting up a switch, computer device, and app. Also learn about conducting a Needs Assessment for assistive technology and justify a student’s need for technology.
