This training helps parents understand what Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are and how using PBIS principles such as teaching expected social and behavior skills, using positive reinforcement for appropriate behaviors, and having meaningful consequences for misbehaviors can help create a more positive school environment for all students. Parents will gain knowledge about the importance of using proactive strategies, making data-based decisions, and conducting functional behavior assessments.
